Ivan Turidić Confirms USKOK Probe of Hajduk Football Club

State Attorney Ivan Turidić told RTL Danas that the anti‑corruption office USKOK is carrying out inspections at Hajduk Split. He said the checks are routine when there are indications of possible irregularities, noting that tips can be anonymous or arise from public disclosures. Turidić added that a Hajduk fan’s involvement does not constitute a conflict of interest and that the same approach would apply to any club, such as Dinamo.

He also referenced recent fan disturbances, including the Torcida incident in Varaždin where stadium seats were set on fire, and a decade‑old clash between supporters on the A1 highway near Desinec. Turidić emphasized the need for swift and certain sanctions, criticizing the slow pace of penalties in both criminal and administrative procedures.
