Ivan Vazov House-Museum unveils renovated exhibition in Sopot

The Ivan Vazov House-Museum in Sopot has unveiled a fully renovated and interactive exhibition. Funded by the America for Bulgaria Foundation in partnership with the Sopot Municipality, the project includes a new educational center designed for children and organized groups. The updated display presents the life of the ‘Patriarch of Bulgarian literature’ and his family through modern methods while preserving existing exhibits, murals, and archives.

During the opening, Bulgarian Minister of Culture Evtim Miloshev also addressed the upcoming repatriation of Tsar Samuil’s remains to Bulgaria. Describing the event as a ‘historical moment’ occurring once in a thousand years, Miloshev emphasized the national significance of the return. He invited citizens to attend the official ceremony on October 3 at Prince Alexander I Square in Sofia.
