Ivana Boom Nikolić launches solo album “2000s” in Belgrade

Serbian pop singer Ivana Boom Nikolić held a promotion event for her debut solo album “2000s” at a venue in Belgrade. She dressed in early‑2000s‑style clothing and highlighted the album’s nostalgic inspiration. Basketball player Čima Moneke, who was expected to appear and feature in a music video, did not attend, prompting fan comments such as “Bolji potez nije imao”.

During the promotion, Ivana said several fellow artists declined to listen to demo tracks for possible duets, noting, “Some didn’t have time to even hear the demos.” Despite the setbacks, she recorded three duets for the album, thanked the collaborators, and expressed emotional joy, saying she was “on the verge of tears” after the release.
