Ivana Raspović denies allegations by Zadar councilman

Lawyer Ivana Raspović has issued a formal rebuttal following accusations made against her by Zadar County Assembly member Marko Pupić Bakrač. During an assembly session on September 11, 2026, Pupić Bakrač alleged that Raspović has been extracting funds from the Municipality of Sukošan for years while repeatedly losing legal cases.

Pupić Bakrač claimed to possess documentation signed by Municipal Head Andrija Vanjak suggesting Raspović maintains an active engagement with the municipality, contradicting her previous court testimony where she stated she no longer provides services to them.

In her response, Raspović dismissed the allegations as lies and characterized Pupić Bakrač as a “local ridiculous” figure. She noted that she had previously declined to represent him after realizing his character. Raspović further challenged the councilman's integrity, questioning the origins of his wealth and his connections to various business interests and real estate.
