Ivanka Trump visits Costa Smeralda with heightened security

Ivanka Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner, are vacationing in Italy’s Costa Smeralda region. Due to her status as an international figure requiring special protection, heightened security measures have been implemented in Porto Cervo, including port closures and inspections of local hotels and hospitality venues.

U.S. Ambassador to Italy Tilman J. Fertitta confirmed the family's presence, noting he encountered them aboard his yacht, Boardwalk, which is currently participating in the Freedom 250 Coastal Diplomacy Italy tour. The family has previously spent time in Sicily, visiting Taormina and attending the Google Camp at the Verdura Resort in Sciacca.
