IVE members Jang Wonyoung and An Yujin face fan backlash over exhibition and lottery event

Fans of the K-pop group IVE have expressed significant dissatisfaction regarding a recent media exhibition and a promotional lottery event. The ‘An-Young: An Yujin x Jang Wonyoung Media Exhibition’, held from September 5 to 27, 2026, faced criticism over its ticket price of ₩66,000 KRW (approximately $49.20 USD) and a perceived lack of collaborative photos featuring both members together.

Additionally, a ‘kuji’ random draw lottery event, jointly hosted by Starship Entertainment and Mnet Plus from September 7 to 11, sparked backlash. The event charged ₩7,500 KRW per draw for various prizes ranging from signed merchandise to a video of a member calling the winner's name. Fans, including members of the official fan club DIVE, criticized the extremely low 0.03988% probability of winning the top-tier Grade A prize, labeling the system exploitative.
