Iveco Bus and Hexagon Agility Sign Global CNG Fuel System Agreement

Iveco Bus and Hexagon Agility announced an exclusive long‑term deal under which Hexagon Agility will supply complete compressed natural gas (CNG) fuel systems for the entire global Iveco Bus CNG and biomethane transit‑bus portfolio. The partnership, now over two decades old, has already supported the delivery of more than 10,000 CNG buses worldwide.

The agreement covers all Iveco Bus operations in Europe, Latin America, Asia‑Pacific, Africa and the Middle East and includes Type 4 carbon‑fiber cylinders for both CNG and biomethane‑powered vehicles. Hexagon Agility had earlier this year secured a separate contract to provide CNG systems for 350 intercity buses ordered for Scania and MAN in France.

Chief Commercial Officer Eric Bippus said the collaboration “has already helped transit operators deploy over 10,000 buses around the world, reducing emissions and fleet costs today.”
