Iveco Group awards SENAI students for industrial innovation projects

The Iveco Group has concluded its Integra Iveco Group innovation journey at its industrial complex in Sete Lagoas, Minas Gerais. The program, held in partnership with SENAI, recognized three student projects focused on circular economy, environmental impact mitigation, and industrial material efficiency.

The first-place prize was awarded to the ‘Módulo Nexus’ project from SENAI Areias in Recife, Pernambuco. This design integrates a chassis with batteries, a fuel tank, and an Arla 32 reservoir into a single module made of recycled aluminum. The project aims to increase vehicle autonomy, simplify maintenance, and ensure material recyclability at the end of its life cycle.

Second place went to the ‘Painel de Porta Eco-Modular’ from SENAI Santos Dumont in São José dos Campos, São Paulo, which utilizes a composite of curauá fiber and polypropylene. Third place was awarded to the ‘EcoOficina’ project from SENAI Gaspar Ricardo Júnior in Sorocaba, São Paulo. The initiative involved 1,260 students across Brazil as part of the Grand Prix SENAI de Inovação 2026.
