Iveco Group opens new distribution center in Brazil

Iveco Group has inaugurated a new parts distribution center in Pouso Alegre, Minas Gerais, Brazil, to enhance its after-sales operations across Latin America. The project involved an investment of R$ 93 million (approximately $18 million USD).

The facility spans nearly 20,000 square meters and features 17 loading docks. This expansion provides 40% more storage capacity than previous setups, with a potential for future expansion of 35%. The hub is designed to manage the movement of approximately 5.8 million parts annually for the IVECO, IVECO BUS, and FPT brands.

Logistical efficiency has seen immediate improvements: the inbound receiving process was reduced from six days to four, while the outbound process—from product departure to customer delivery—was cut from four days to two. Domenico Nucera, Chief Quality & Operations Officer of Iveco Group, stated that the center reinforces the company’s industrial resilience and integrated value chain.
