IVE's Wonyoung to throw first pitch at Dodgers-Mets MLB game

South Korean girl group IVE was officially invited by the New York Mets to attend the Major League Baseball game between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Mets on July 26 (July 27 in Japan). Group member Chan Wonyoung will throw the ceremonial first pitch at Citi Field.

Wonyoung said she looks forward to connecting with fans worldwide, calling the occasion a “special moment” and expressing excitement to experience the stadium atmosphere. The game also features star pitcher Shohei Ohtani.

IVE debuted in December 2021, quickly topped Korean music charts, and is currently on a world tour. Their fan community is known as DIVE.
