Iveta Jankovičová completes 162km ultramarathon in Slovenia

Ultramarathon runner and physician Iveta Jankovičová completed the Stomílovka race in Slovenia, covering 162 kilometers with a total elevation gain of 6,500 meters. The race lasted 33 hours, during which she finished first in her category and eighth among all female participants.

Jankovičová, who works at the Faculty Hospital in Hradec Králové, noted that the event required extensive preparation, including running, strength training, swimming, cycling, and mental conditioning. She described the experience as her most difficult race to date, serving as a way to test her personal limits.
