Ivete Sangalo offered to cover Lexa’s hospital expenses

Ivete Sangalo offered to assist the family of singer Lexa with medical costs following a difficult hospitalization in February 2025. Darlin Ferrattry, Lexa’s mother, revealed the gesture during her participation in the reality show ‘A Fazenda 18’.

According to Ferrattry, Sangalo called to check on Lexa’s well-being and specifically inquired about the hospital bill, which reportedly reached approximately R$ 1.1 million. While Sangalo offered financial support, the family declined, noting they had health insurance to cover the costs.

The medical emergency occurred after Lexa faced severe pregnancy complications, including early pre-eclampsia and HELLP syndrome. Lexa’s daughter, Sofia, was born prematurely at 25 weeks and passed away three days later.
