Ivete Sangalo supports Lula during Fortaleza concert

During a concert in Fortaleza, singer Ivete Sangalo expressed support for President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. While responding to chants from the crowd, the artist made the “L” hand gesture and joined the audience in cheering for the president.

Sangalo used the moment to address the current political climate in Brazil, acknowledging that public dissatisfaction with the government is “legitimate, coherent, and relevant.” However, she urged voters to maintain rationality, stating that “discontent cannot be greater than our lucidity.” Her remarks occurred during the second-round presidential campaign period involving Lula and Flávio Bolsonaro.
