Ivica Dilber establishes high-altitude vineyard in Eminovo Selo

Entrepreneur Ivica Dilber has established a unique vineyard in Eminovo Selo, near Tomislavgrad, at an altitude of approximately 965 to 1,000 meters. The project defies local tradition and climate skepticism, as the area was previously considered unsuitable for viticulture due to harsh winters, cold nights, and rocky terrain.

The vineyard spans roughly 20 hectares and contains approximately 100,000 vines. Located between the mountain massifs of Jelovača, Vran planina, Čvrsnica, and Ljubuša, the site represents a significant experimental push in modern enology by utilizing high-altitude landscapes that were once thought incapable of supporting even basic vegetation.
