Iván Barbero leads FC Arouca offensive performance

Spanish striker Iván Barbero is playing a key role in FC Arouca’s pursuit of European competition during the 2025-26 season. In his second year with the Portuguese club, the 28-year-old has established himself as a primary attacking threat.

Barbero has scored five goals in ten league matches and added another goal in the Taça de Portugal, helping the team advance past the first round of the cup. His scoring tally places him among the top marksmen in the league, alongside players from major clubs such as FC Porto and Benfica.

Having previously played for clubs including Osasuna B and Deportivo La Coruña, Barbero has maintained consistent playing time, starting in all eleven official matches for Arouca this season. The striker is currently preparing for a league match against Famalicão.
