IVN supports Hoogland children's nature garden project

The Institute for Nature Education and Sustainability (IVN) is supporting the Hoogland Children's District Council in developing a nature garden at Engweg. The project is driven by local children concerned about the decline of biodiversity, specifically regarding bees and butterflies.

In collaboration with the municipality of Amersfoort and 033GROEN, the initiative has already seen the installation of paths and the planting of hundreds of indigenous shrubs and flowering areas. To fund further development, IVN Amersfoort will host a sale of nature photographs in Park Schothorst on September 13, 2026.
