IVOO coordinator arrested for alleged theft of mobile phones in Zulia
An IVOO coordinator, identified as 45-year-old Jesús Javier Reyes Arámbulo, has been arrested in Ciudad Ojeda, Zulia, for the alleged theft of mobile phones.
Authorities from PoliLagunillas apprehended the suspect at the retail store's Costa Oriental del Lago branch while he was on duty. The investigation began after the store manager reported a recurring pattern of missing high-end devices over the last four months.
Preliminary findings suggest that at least 16 phones were stolen and subsequently sold via social media and digital platforms. During the arrest, police recovered one of the reported stolen devices. The case has been referred to the 42nd Prosecutor's Office of the Public Ministry for further legal action.
