Idriss Diallo, president of the Ivorian Football Federation (FIF), has announced a significant increase in subsidies for football clubs as part of his ‘Transformer pour durer’ (Transform to Last) initiative. The plan aims to professionalize club management, improve player supervision, and strengthen team structures.

Under the new proposed financial scale, Ligue 1 club subsidies will rise from 100 million to 140 million CFA francs. Ligue 2 subsidies are set to increase from 50 million to 70 million CFA francs, while Division 3 funding will move from 30 million to 40 million CFA francs.

Women's football will also see an increase, with subsidies rising from 10 million to 15 million CFA francs. Additionally, interest groups are slated to receive between 15 and 20 million CFA francs. Diallo, who is running for re-election in September 2026, intends for these funds to serve as a lever for the long-term development of Ivorian football.
