Ivorian sports leaders hold key meetings for football and tennis

Following his re-election as president of the Ivorian Football Federation (FIF) on September 12, 2026, Yacine Idriss Diallo met with Sports Minister Adjé Silas Metch on September 21. The meeting served as a courtesy visit to express gratitude for the ministry's ongoing support and to ensure continued collaboration between the federation and the government.

In separate sports news, Sylvère Koyo, president of the Ivorian Tennis Federation (FIT), is traveling in France to strengthen training and technical expertise within Ivorian tennis. During a visit to Paris, Koyo met with sports educator Eric Kouassi at Club Tennis Dauphine to discuss potential knowledge-sharing programs. The initiative aims to allow Ivorian coaches to learn French training methods and adapt them to local contexts, fostering stronger links between domestic technicians and experts abroad.
