Çivril festival introduces new chocolates made from local products

During the 28th International Apple, Agriculture and Culture Festival in the Çivril district of Denizli, two new chocolate varieties made from local agricultural products were introduced.

Produced by the Evciler Women's Cooperative under the leadership of Çivril Mayor Semih Dere, the new products include a biscuit cream chocolate and a poppy seed chocolate. The poppy seed variety utilizes one of the region's significant agricultural crops.

These efforts are part of a local strategy to promote the district's agricultural diversity, following the introduction of Çivril soda last year. Festival visitors and local officials expressed positive feedback, noting that such innovative uses of local ingredients could enhance the promotion of Çivril.
