IVSA Greece ranked first globally in veterinary student organization evaluation

IVSA Greece has achieved first place globally in the Top Member Organization (Top MO) evaluation for 2026. This distinction recognizes the organization as the leading member within the International Veterinary Students’ Association (IVSA) network.

The achievement is attributed to the organizational consistency, active participation, and overall contributions of Greek veterinary students. IVSA Greece is composed of two primary student groups: IVSA Thessaly, representing the Veterinary Medicine Department of the University of Thessaly, and IVSA Thessaloniki, representing the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

The IVSA is a non-profit international organization dedicated to enhancing scientific training, international cooperation, and networking among veterinary students. Through its global network, it promotes knowledge exchange, animal welfare, public health, and the ‘One Health’ approach. Student activities include international exchanges, scientific seminars, and social initiatives focused on animal protection and responsible pet ownership.
