Ivy League swimmers named to USA Swimming National Team
Two Ivy League swimmers, Watson Nguyen of the University of Pennsylvania and William Mulgrew of Harvard University, have been named to the 2026-27 USA Swimming National Team roster.
Nguyen, a sophomore, was selected for the 55-swimmer men's roster following his performance in the 50-meter breaststroke, where he secured a long-course national title. Mulgrew will represent the United States in the 800 and 1,500 freestyle events after winning the 1,500 free at the Toyota National Championships.
The National Team selection is based on competitive results from the 2025-26 swim season. The roster includes a total of 101 swimmers aiming toward future international competitions, including the LA28 Olympics.
