Iwaki FC terminates manager Yuta Tamura's contract
Iwaki FC has announced the contract termination of manager Yuta Tamura, effective September 7, following his resignation offer. The decision comes amid a period of poor performance in the J2 league, where the club sits in 17th place after suffering four consecutive losses.
Tamura, a founding member of the club who joined the reinforcement department in 2015, has been instrumental in the team's development over the past 11.5 years, including leading them from the Fukushima Prefecture Social Division 1 league to J3.
Kazuaki Tasaka, the club's current Sports Division Director, has been appointed as the new manager. Tasaka officially began leading the team during training sessions on September 8.
