iWant announces horror anthology ‘True Manila Encounters’

iWant has announced the release of ‘True Manila Encounters’, a limited horror anthology produced by CreaZion Studios. The series dramatizes supernatural experiences based on real-life submissions from residents across Metro Manila.

The anthology begins on October 29 with the episode ‘Undressed’, directed by Rae Red. Starring Xyriel Manabat and Karina Bautista, the story follows a woman with a suppressed ‘third eye’ who must confront a vengeful spirit attached to a piece of thrifted clothing.

The subsequent episode, ‘Occupant’, directed by Dodo Dayao, features Kaori Oinuma and Elyson de Dios. This installment focuses on a long-distance relationship that turns sinister when a malicious entity begins tormenting one partner through video calls.
