IWC releases limited-edition Ingenieur models for 50th anniversary

IWC is celebrating the 50th anniversary of its Ingenieur design with the release of two limited-edition Ingenieur Automatic models. These new stainless steel timepieces, measuring 40mm and 35mm, draw inspiration from the legendary 1976 Ingenieur SL Reference 1832 designed by Gérald Genta.

The anniversary models feature the signature Ingenieur bezel secured by five screws, a hallmark of Genta’s original industrial aesthetic. Unlike standard Ingenieur models that typically use a textured grid pattern, these editions feature a silver-plated dial with a distinctive brushed finish. Both watches offer 100 meters of water resistance, a screw-down crown, and convex sapphire crystals with anti-reflective coating.
