IWC releases limited edition watch to honor Mercedes-Benz anniversary

IWC Schaffhausen has released a limited-edition Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar ProSet to commemorate the 140th anniversary of Mercedes-Benz. Only 140 units of the timepiece will be produced.

The watch features the new ProSet perpetual calendar system, a mechanical module protected by four patents. This innovation allows users to adjust the calendar both forward and backward using a single crown position, eliminating the need for additional pushers or crowns.

The timepiece is housed in a 42mm steel case with a black dial, gold accents, and gold hands. It is powered by the IWC-manufactured 82665 caliber movement, which provides a 60-hour power reserve and includes complications for the date, day, month, four-digit year, and a Double Moon phase for both hemispheres. The movement is designed with high precision, theoretically deviating by only one day every 1,040 years.
