IWC unveils new Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 team watch

IWC Schaffhausen has unveiled its fourth official team watch for the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team. The new timepiece from the Pilot’s collection features a deep purple dial, a color inspired by the Papilionanthe Miss Joaquim, which is the national flower of Singapore, in tribute to the Singapore Grand Prix.

The 41mm watch is constructed from Grade 5 titanium, a lightweight and corrosion-resistant material also used in engine components. It utilizes the IWC 69385 mechanical chronograph movement and includes a 46-hour power reserve. The design incorporates the team’s signature teal color on the indices, hands, and date window. The watch is water-resistant up to 10 bar and features a purple strap compatible with IWC’s EasX-Change mechanism for quick replacement.
