IWLCA announces coaching development selections

The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) has announced selections for two professional development initiatives aimed at collegiate coaches.

Paris Masaracchia of East Carolina University has been chosen as one of 26 coaches for the IWLCA Aspire Assistant Coach Development Program. The program provides intensive continuing education through virtual and in-person sessions running from the fall semester through January 2027.

Additionally, Butler University Head Coach Leah Rubino has been named to the inaugural cohort of the IWLCA Spark program. This initiative is specifically designed to support head coaches with fewer than four years of experience, focusing on leadership identity, team culture, and professional networking. The Spark program will run from August 2026 through January 2027.
