Iwo Baraniewski drops out of UFC light heavyweight rankings

Polish MMA fighter Iwo Baraniewski has fallen out of the UFC light heavyweight META rankings following the recent updates after UFC Sacramento. Baraniewski, who had held the 15th position for three weeks, was displaced by Reinier de Ridder, who debuted in the 205-pound division at the 9th spot after defeating Roman Dolidze.

Baraniewski, a 27-year-old fighter who joined the UFC in late 2025 after a standout performance on Dana White’s Contender Series, is scheduled to return to action on September 19, 2026, at UFC 331. He will face Alonzo Menifield in an attempt to climb back into the rankings.
