Iyabo Ojo challenges Lagos Governor over COVID-19 curfew

Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has publicly challenged Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu regarding the 12am to 4am curfew imposed to curb the spread of COVID-19.

In a video posted to Instagram, Ojo expressed concern over the economic impact of the restrictions, stating that lounge, bar, and club owners in Lagos are facing significant debt and business closures. She questioned the necessity of the specific timeframe, asking if the virus moves specifically between midnight and 4am.

Ojo also raised concerns regarding law enforcement, alleging that some police officers use the curfew as an opportunity to extort citizens. She tagged both Governor Sanwo-Olu and Vice President Yemi Osinfewu tagged the Vice President to request an urgent address of these issues.
