İYİ Parti spokesperson dismisses election alliance rumors

İYİ Parti Spokesperson Buğra Kavuncu addressed several political and economic issues during a press conference following a party council meeting led by Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu.

Regarding political rumors, Kavuncu dismissed reports of a new election alliance involving İYİ Parti as ‘meaningless and useless,’ stating that such discussions are premature since no election date has been set. He urged the public not to believe news attempting to include the party in such alliances.

Kavuncu also criticized the government's handling of the economy, specifically highlighting the plight of farmers. He noted that market prices for products like figs and nectarines have dropped significantly, and tomato producers are struggling to find buyers, leading to waste.

On international matters, Kavuncu expressed concern over Israeli military actions in Syria, stating that the party is closely monitoring these developments. Additionally, he criticized the ‘Terror-free Turkey’ process and recent legislative frameworks, arguing that political actors are prioritizing controversial processes over the needs of retirees, youth, and workers.
