İyilik Okulu Awards recognize top student projects in Turkey
The Deniz Feneri Derneği held the İyilik Okulu Awards ceremony on September 21, 2026, at the Atatürk Cultural Center in Istanbul to recognize social responsibility efforts by students.
Gaziantep Şahinbey Prof. Dr. Mehmet Görmez İmam Hatip Lisesi was named the first-place winner in the high school category for its project titled ‘Bir Şubemizi de Gazze’de Açıyoruz’. The award was presented to İbrahim Halil Güler and students by Deputy Minister of National Education Prof. Dr. Cihat Demirli.
In the middle school category, Denizli Şehit Burhan Acar İmam Hatip Ortaokulu secured first place for the Multiple Application Award. The school was recognized for its various social responsibility initiatives, specifically the ‘Bir Yuva Bir Umut’ and ‘Yaşlılara Bin Vefa’ projects, which focus on community aid and respect for the elderly.
