Iyotetsu announces Railway Day facility tour for families
Iyotetsu has announced a commemorative event for Railway Day to be held on October 24, 2026, at the Iyotetsu Furumachi Station. The facility tour is designed for 50 pairs of elementary school students and their guardians, offering hands-on experiences such as observing train washing equipment, ATS operation demonstrations, and conductor experiences.
The event is free of charge, though participation is subject to a lottery if applications exceed capacity. Applicants must be users of the ‘Mikyan App’ and present their home screen upon arrival.
