Izak Ježić named youngest player in top European leagues

Sixteen-year-old Osijek defender Izak Ježić has been ranked as the youngest footballer to play at least 300 minutes in domestic leagues across 26 major European divisions this season. The ranking was released by the CIES Football Observatory.

Ježić, born in March 2010, has recorded 348 minutes across five appearances for Osijek in the SuperSport HNL, including four starts. His notable performances include a full 90-minute appearance in a 4-2 victory against Dinamo Zagreb.

His rapid development has drawn interest from English Premier League clubs, including Manchester United, Newcastle United, and Nottingham Forest, who are reportedly monitoring his progress.
