İZBETON signs collective bargaining agreement for 750 employees

A collective bargaining agreement has been signed between İZBETON AŞ, a subsidiary of the İzmir Metropolitan Municipality, and the Belediye-İş Union (İzmir 3rd Branch). The agreement covers approximately 750 employees for a two-year period.

Under the terms of the contract, workers will receive a 16.30 percent wage increase for the first six-month period. For the second, third, and fourth six-month periods, wage increases will be calculated based on the Consumer Price Index (CPI) plus a 1 percent welfare share. The agreement aims to protect employee wages against inflation and improve social rights.

İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Cemil Tugay attended the signing ceremony at Kültürpark 3 No’lu Hol. Tugay stated that the municipality aims to ensure employees work in a peaceful environment while maintaining a balanced municipal budget.
