İzmir International Fair features Nazım Hikmet exhibition and transport updates

The 95th İzmir International Fair (İEF) is set to take place at Kültürpark from September 5 to 13, 2026. To accommodate visitors, the İzmir Metropolitan Municipality has implemented significant public transportation adjustments. ESHOT will provide 371 additional services across 88 bus lines, while metro and tram services will have extended operating hours until 01:20. Additionally, İZDENİZ ferry services will run late into the night on the Karşıyaka-Alsancak line.

As part of the fair's cultural programming, a major exhibition titled ‘ROMANTİKA / Bir Ömrün Seyrüseferi’ is being held at the Atlas Pavilion. This comprehensive exhibition, organized by the İzmir Metropolitan Municipality in collaboration with Folkart, explores the life and art of the renowned poet Nazım Hikmet. The exhibition will run from September 5, 2026, to January 15, 2027.

Furthermore, the 8th İzmir Book Fair (İZKİTAP) is scheduled for September 19-27, 2026, at Kültürpark. The event will feature various publishers, authors, and cultural institutions, with psychologist and writer Gündüz Vassaf serving as the guest of honor.
