İzmir districts Bayraklı and Bornova outline August council agendas

The Bayraklı district council in İzmir will consider a plan to redevelop buildings within the designated "K" zones, following a March decision by the İzmir Metropolitan Municipality. The agenda also includes a proposal to scrap 15 municipal vehicles that have reached the end of their economic life.

The Bornova district council will discuss capital increases for two municipal companies – İZBAŞ (İzmir Construction and Infrastructure Co.) and Belkahve İnşaat Yapı Metal Geri Dönüşüm Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. – tied to the allocation of public land for a truck parking area and a recreation site. Additional items include the purchase of four pick‑up trucks for narrow streets and the disposal of 17 municipal vehicles to be transferred to MKE. A report on post‑2020 earthquake reconstruction will also be reviewed.
