Izmir experiences widespread electricity and water cuts across several districts

Utility companies in Izmir are carrying out extensive maintenance work, causing planned electricity outages in districts such as Karabağlar, Kemalpaşa, Seferihisar, Bornova, Buca and others. The outages are scheduled for various time windows on June 2‑4, with most areas expecting power to be restored by mid‑afternoon.

Separately, the municipal water provider IZSU has announced water service interruptions in seven districts, affecting neighbourhoods including Bayraklı, Foça, Menderes, Menemen, Urla, Çeşme and Çiğli. Specific cut‑off times range from early morning to early afternoon on June 4, with durations of two to four hours depending on the location and cause of the disruption.
