İzmir hosts Erasmus+ School Education Accreditation workshop

The İzmir Provincial Directorate of National Education held the Erasmus+ School Education Accreditation 2025 Period Experience Sharing Workshop from September 9–11. Hosted at the Çeşme Alaçatı Teachers' House and Evening Art School, the event focused on evaluating how the accreditation process contributes to institutional capacity, teacher quality, and student development.

Attended by Dr. Ayhan Öztürk, Head of the Ministry of National Education's Research, Development, Project, and Monitoring Department, the workshop aimed to strengthen ties between İzmir's schools and the European education sector. Under the leadership of İzmir Provincial Director of National Education Dr. Ömer Yahşi, the initiative seeks to integrate international cooperation networks and best practices into local school cultures.

The coordination team provided guidance to consortium members on document management, activity quality, and the dissemination of successful educational models. Key priorities discussed included the holistic well-being of teachers and students, school climate, and student support mechanisms.
