İzmir hosts international drama camp for youth from Turkey, Germany, and Greece

The EDERED 2026 International Drama Camp is currently being held at the Özdere 100. Yıl Youth and Sports Campus in İzmir. Organized through a collaboration between the İzmir Metropolitan Municipality and the Contemporary Drama Association, the event brings together 31 young participants from Turkey, Germany, and Greece.

Under the theme ‘The Library of the World; The Rest is Yet to be Written,’ the camp utilizes creative drama to foster intercultural interaction and active learning. Participants engage in workshops and social activities to create shared stories based on their diverse life experiences. The program is scheduled to conclude on August 17, with a final performance planned for August 16 at the Ahmed Adnan Saygun Art Center.
