İzmir Institute of Technology leads 2026 Turkish university satisfaction survey

The 2026 Turkey University Satisfaction Survey (TÜMA) ranked İzmir Institute of Technology (İYTE) at the top of overall student satisfaction among more than 200 universities. İYTE received the highest scores in all sub‑categories and was rated “A+” across the board. Rector Prof. Dr. Yusuf Baran was also honored with the “Gold Award” for the fourth consecutive year.

Ordu University placed tenth overall among state universities and retained its position as the leading institution in Turkey’s Black Sea region. The university improved its ranking from the previous year and scored above 80 points in areas such as campus experience, career development and academic support, earning an “A” rating in those categories.
