The 95th Izmir International Fair (IEF) has opened at Kültürpark, running from September 5 to September 13, 2026. The event features various cultural, artistic, and commercial activities, with daily visiting hours set from 16:00 to 23:00.
During the opening ceremony, Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Cemil Tugay highlighted the fair's historical significance and expressed a commitment to preparing the event for its second century. To accommodate the expected crowds, ESHOT has implemented adjustments to public transportation. Several bus lines, including those connecting to Çiğli, Evka 3, Balçova, and Güzelbahçe, have extended their service hours, with some last departures scheduled after 02:00 to ensure easier access for visitors during the evening and late-night hours.
