İzmir: Man killed in motorcycle accident months after surviving previous fatal crash

A 20-year-old man, Ramazan Özdemir, has died in a motorcycle accident in İzmir, Turkey, five months after surviving a different fatal collision. In the initial accident, which occurred in the Bornova district in May 2024, Özdemir was riding a motorcycle with passenger Ömer Çetinkaya, who died at the scene. The driver of the vehicle that caused the first crash, identified as V. A., was sentenced to 8 years and 6 months in prison.

In the recent incident, Özdemir was a passenger on a motorcycle operated by E. G. (21) when the fatal accident occurred.
