İzmir Mayor Cemil Tugay visits Kosovo to boost economic ties

İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Cemil Tugay conducted a three-day working visit to Kosovo to strengthen bilateral ties and explore economic cooperation. During the trip, Tugay met with Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, several ministers, mayors, and the President of the Kosovo Chamber of Commerce.

Discussions focused on the significant potential for economic collaboration between the two regions. To facilitate these connections, Tugay announced plans to organize ‘Kosovo Days’ in İzmir during October or November. Additionally, the delegation is considering hosting ‘İzmir Days’ in Kosovo during the spring to promote cultural exchange and bring together business leaders from relevant sectors.
