İzmir Metropolitan Municipality begins Yedigöller Park renovation

İzmir Metropolitan Municipality has begun renovation works at Yedigöller Park in the Buca district. The project aims to redesign 100,000 square meters of land to increase public utility and address climate change impacts by converting former pond areas into sports and play zones.

A key feature of the redesign is the construction of a new skate park on an 1,800 square meter area under a bridge, following specific requests from local youth. Additionally, the Yedigöller Bridge has been renovated for improved safety, and the project includes enhancing green spaces and social areas throughout the park.
