İzmir Metropolitan Municipality provides social aid through solidarity centers

İzmir Metropolitan Municipality is continuing its social assistance programs for citizens in need through 12 Solidarity Points and 3 Consultation Points located in disadvantaged neighborhoods. Managed by the Social Services Department, these centers provide hot meals to 16,800 people every week.

In addition to food, the municipality provides various supplies including hygienic pads, baby food, diapers, clothing, white goods, household items, textiles, fruits, vegetables, and fuel. Consultation Points also facilitate applications for cash assistance, retiree support, rent and marriage aid, and the 'Süt Kuzusu' project. On average, approximately 9,800 citizens receive services through these locations weekly.
