Izmir Metropolitan Municipality supports Payamlı producers
The Izmir Metropolitan Municipality is providing support to local producers in Payamlı village, Güzelbahçe, to promote rural development and ensure the sustainability of agricultural production.
In preparation for the 12th annual Payamlı Bardacık Festival, scheduled for August 22-23, municipal officials including Deputy Mayor Dr. Zafer Levent Yıldır and Güzelbahçe Deputy Mayor Ayşe Akın visited the region. The delegation met with local producers and the Payamlı Production Cooperative to discuss production challenges and needs.
Dr. Yıldır noted that the municipality has implemented an Agricultural Master Plan and has collected data regarding regional issues to better assist local farmers. The initiative aims to support small-scale producers and strengthen the local agricultural economy.
