Izmir University of Economics celebrates 144 postgraduate graduates

Izmir University of Economics (IUE) held a graduation ceremony for 144 postgraduate students who completed their master's and doctoral programs. During the event, which coincided with the university's 25th anniversary, faculty members shared advice regarding the evolving global landscape.

Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Efe Biresselioğlu emphasized the importance of continuous learning in a world transformed by artificial intelligence, technology, and climate change. He encouraged graduates to maintain curiosity and strive to leave their work in a better state than they found it. Additionally, Prof. Dr. Muhittin Hakan Demir noted that postgraduate education aims to teach students how to evaluate evidence, distinguish reliable information, and apply critical thinking skills.
