İzmir's former DGM buildings to become a library

Former State Security Court (DGM) buildings in İzmir are being converted into a large-scale library for local youth. AK Party Secretary General and İzmir Deputy Eyyüp Kadir İnan announced that the project to transform these historical buildings in the city center is nearing completion.

İnan stated that the library will provide a comprehensive space for young people to study, read, and spend time. He expressed gratitude to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy for their support in the transformation project.

Addressing recent comments from CHP Chairman Özgür Özel regarding his involvement in the project, İnan remarked, "Our clearest answer to Mr. Özgür Özel, who targets us, is this work. Those who wonder what we are following should look at these works."
