İzmir’s Kemalpaşa and Uşak municipalities set dates for major public land auctions

The Kemalpaşa municipality in İzmir, governed by the CHP, announced the sale of 25 public parcels—including fields, vineyards, olive groves and two developed plots—at a total assessed value of 238 million Turkish lira. The auction will take place on 8 July 2026, with five critical parcels sold by closed‑envelope method and the remaining twenty by open bidding.

In Uşak, the local execution office listed an 8,920 m² field in the village of Karakuyu for public auction. The property’s assessed value is 2.23 million lira, with the first electronic bidding round scheduled for 11 August 2026 and a second round set for 8–15 September 2026 if the initial sale does not succeed. Both auctions reflect a broader trend of Turkish municipalities selling land assets to address fiscal pressures.
